IMPLIKASI PENGEMBANGAN WEBSITE SEBAGAI MEDIA KOMUNIKASI EFEKTIF PADA LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN MA’ARIF NAHDLATUL ULAMA PONOROGO DALAM MENDUKUNG SDGs

Abstract

This research investigates the digitalization commitment of the Ma'arif Nadlatul Ulama Education Institution (LPNU) in Ponorogo Regency, focusing on the deployment of official school websites. Employing a comprehensive mixed-methods design, the study analyzed both the implementation strategy and its impact. Implementation faced significant barriers, including low teacher competency in digital media, limited internet access and speed, and constraints in computer infrastructure. LPNU addressed these by providing strategic support: offering comprehensive website and content creation training, supplying web developers, and establishing official sch.id domains and professional website designs. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test (via IBM SPSS 29) yielded an asymptotic significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). This result provides robust statistical evidence of a highly significant difference in website traffic volume between the pre-training and post-training periods, confirming the substantial positive impact of LPNU’s intervention. The institutional website is positioned beyond a mere digital showcase, functioning instead as an efficacious communication channel. This platform mediates the school’s informational needs with diverse stakeholders, including the community, parents, and alumni. Consequently, this initiative successfully cultivates an inclusive and collaborative educational ecosystem, directly supporting a core tenet of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
